It’s hard to believe that it’s already time for the pre-fall shows! But the season kicked-off last week here in NYC. One of my favorite collections so far is Rag & Bone. Designers David Neville and Marcus Wainwright have created a sexy, yet relaxed collection that will polish any cool downtown girls look. Another fantastic collection by one of the best design teams out there! Well done. These pieces below will definitely need to be in my closet come next fall.

Slouchy cashmere leggings – preferably in a dark charcoal color. This pair by Tom Scott is just perfect – great color and not too slouchy where they look frumpy. I would definitely wear them to work (when I don’t have any client meetings) or on the weekend topped off with a tailored blazer and black ankle boots. IRO makes an equally great pair. I have the matching sweater and I can vouch for how amazingly comfortable these are…

I absolutely love these ankle boots by Kurt Geiger and this vintage looking bag by Su-Shi. These boots are a great shade of green and so neutral that they would go with everything! The buckle detailing along the top adds a bit more interest. I would wear them with wooly gray tights and denim shirt dress and an oversized chunky cardigan – a perfect cozy weekend look. Then I’d top it off with this amazing Su-Shi bag. I can’t say enough about this bag – large enough to carry all my things, but chic enough to take out….

I discovered this brand while perusing the Pop-Up Flea in New York City back in October and just fell in love with the simple, classic designs. The quality of these bags is unreal. The company is based out of St.Paul, MN and has been making their own bags, luggage, and hunting gear in house for over the past 100 years! Each item has a lifetime guarantee (awesome) and they also offer a “loaner program” — so if the item you want is on backorder, they will send you a bag/luggage/gear while you wait for your item to arrive! I’m particularly crazy for the Legacy Shoulder Bag in American Heritage Brown leather, which is the most perfect already worn in look. The long strap lets you wear it across your body or adjusted to be a little shorter.

Last night I was lucky enough to score some passes to the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony in Rockefeller Center! It was such a fun and exciting evening (thankfully, no rain!) and now I can say I’m officially in the holiday spirit! With my passes I got to stand on the ice directly in front of the stage/tree, which smelled INCREDIBLE! Sadly, I can’t have a tree in my tiny NYC apartment, so I had to resort to the next best thing…. Aunt Sadie’s Tree in a Can candle. If you’re familiar with this brand, then you know what I mean. These scent of these candles are so outstanding and authentic! I made sure to order a bunch so I can keep the Christmas tree scent going in my apartment all season long. These candles will also be a perfect gift for my other city friends who can’t have Christmas trees!
Aunt Sadie’s is a family-owned, Boston-based company that specializes in candles, fragrance and home gifts.

Sequins were a huge trend on the runways for fall….I’m particularly loving how designers are taking more casual, relaxed pieces – like sweatshirts – and spicing them up a bit by adding a little shimmer! Below are a few of my favorite picks! Any of these tops would great for work paired with a blazer or for a night out with leather leggings and heels.
This is by far the best natural cidar I’ve had outside of Spain! Seriously, so delicious! This particular brand – called Bereziartua – can be purchased at Astor Wines in NYC and it costs a little under $20. Plus the bottle has a vintage look to it so you can get a couple to keep on display. Enjoy!
